Whitefish

Our method of processing whitefish is based on old traditions. Both our wet-salted and dried and salted fish are in a class of their own among similar products manufactured on Norway`s Western coast.

 

Olav E. Fiskerstrand AS is a family-owned business established in 1916, and has extensive experience in turning raw fish into delishious dried and salted products. Quality control is implemented from the first step in the production process checking the raw materials through washing, splitting, salting and drying, ensuring first-rate wet-salted, and dried and salted fish. The majority of the production of dried and salted fish is still done by hand, and the quality of our products shows just how well our staff masters this traditional art.
